The brand new episode of WWE NXT took place on December 17, 2025. This episode was one of the best episodes of NXT that we have seen in recent times.
The main theme of this episode followed the actions that happened in the main event of last week’s NXT main event. Last week, Evans cashed in his Iron Survivor win, and Ricky Saints turned heel, costing Evans the NXT Championship against Oba Femi.
Tonight’s WWE NXT featured many great matches. The show kicked off with a brilliant WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship match between Blake Monroe and Thea Hail.
Tonight’s NXT episode was a very special episode for TNA talents. We saw Moose return in this episode and challenge Ethan Page. We also saw Leon Slater in the fatal four-way number one contendership match for the NXT Championship

Blake Monroe vs Thea Hail: Thea Hail surprisingly defeated Blake Monroe to capture the NXT Women’s North American Championship
Moose Returns: Moose returned to NXT and challenged Ethan Page. It was confirmed that Moose will face Page for the NXT Men’s North American Championship on December 31, 2025.
OTM vs Hank Tank: Hank and Tank defeated OTM in a tag team match.
Ricky Saints and Je’Von Evans: We saw a brawl between Ricky Saints and Je’Von Evans, which ended with Ricky putting Evans through the announce table.
Fatal Influence vs Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair: Kendal Grey locked Fallon Henly in an Armbar, which allowed her team to secure the win in this tag team match via submission.
Number one contendership match for the NXT Championship: Leon Slater defeated Joe Hendry, Myles Borne, and Dion Lennox to become the new number one contender for Oba Femi’s NXT Championship.
