According to a report cited from The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel plans to release four different trailers for Avengers: Doomsday, with each trailer attached to theatrical screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash

The Hollywood Report has confirmed this and shared more details about the release plan.

“Disney will supply cinemas with four different trailers for the Marvel film. Each trailer will run for one week before being replaced by the next. This means viewers watching Fire and Ash in its opening week will see the first trailer, those attending the following week will see the second, and the cycle will continue in the same way.”

The strategy would roll out one new trailer per week, meaning audiences would have to see Avatar: Fire and Ash across four separate weeks to view every version in theaters.

Each trailer is said to feature different footage and focus, not just minor edits, turning the promotion into a month-long campaign rather than a single trailer release.

The move is described as part of a broader Disney strategy to boost the box office performance of Avatar: Fire and Ash, which reportedly needs to earn around one billion dollars to break even.

It is not yet clear whether these trailers will also be released online. Avatar: Fire and Ash begins theatrical previews on December 18 and opens wide on December 19, 2025, while Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026.
