Yashasvi Jaiswal gave fans a scare after he was rushed to the hospital following Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match against Rajasthan in Pune.
The 23-year-old reportedly suffered from severe stomach cramps during the game, which worsened after the match ended.
According to multiple reports, Jaiswal was admitted to Aditya Birla Hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with acute gastroenteritis.
He underwent medical tests, including an ultrasound and a CT scan, before receiving treatment.
It is reported that, thankfully, there is no major cause for concern, and he has been advised medication and some rest for full recovery.
Despite being in pain, Jaiswal still took the field for Mumbai and scored 15 runs as his team secured a three-wicket win while chasing a big target of 217.
The good news for Indian cricket fans is that the issue appears temporary, and Jaiswal is expected to recover soon.
Both the Indian cricket team and Mumbai will be hoping Jaiswal is back to full fitness quickly and ready to continue his impressive run with the bat.
