While chasing 144, RCB was dominant from the start. Smriti Mandhana and Grace Harris put UPW bowlers under constant pressure. Grace Harris played a powerful knock of 85 off just 40 balls, hitting 10 fours and 5 sixes, before being caught off Shikha Pandey’s bowling. Smriti Mandhana supported her well with fluent strokeplay and smart rotation of strike. Richa Ghosh then finished the chase with a boundary.

RCB reached the target comfortably and won the match by 9 wickets.

Deepti Sharma and Deandra Dottin Record Partnership during RCB W vs UPW W in WPL 2026

In RCB W vs UPW W Match 5 of the Women’s Premier League 2026, Deepti Sharma and Deandra Dottin played a crucial role for UP Warriorz against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. UPW were in serious trouble at 50 for 5 in the 9th over when Dottin joined Deepti at the crease. From that position, the two experienced players steadied the innings and then increased the scoring rate, adding an unbeaten 93-run partnership for the sixth wicket to take UPW to 143 for 5.

Deepti Sharma remained not out on 45 from 35 balls. Her innings included five fours and one six. Deandra Dottin also stayed unbeaten, scoring 40 from 37 balls with three fours and one six. Their stand helped UP Warriorz recover from a collapse and post a competitive total.

This partnership is the second-highest partnership for the sixth wicket or lower in WPL history. The highest remains the 109-run unbeaten stand between Deepti Sharma and Poonam Khemnar for UPW against Gujarat Giants in Delhi in 2024. The third-highest is the 70-run unbeaten partnership between Grace Harris and Sophie Ecclestone for UPW against Gujarat Giants in Navi Mumbai in 2023.

With this innings, Deepti Sharma also crossed an important milestone in the WPL. She now has 553 runs in 27 matches at an average of 29.10. She is the second player to score more than 550 runs for UP Warriorz, after Grace Harris, who has 581 runs and is playing for RCB in the 2026 season.
